On Christmas day 2005, I was taken to the hospital to have emergency surgery for gall-bladder problems.
Since I was going to be off work for the next six weeks my adult daughter bought me an airbrush and a couple of Star-War kits. That was the start of the return of modelling after a 30-year absence. Since then, I have subscribed to FSM, started building everthing, and really enjoy the challenge.
I don't know what I like better, AFVs or aircraft. I have learned more about techniques this last year than I ever could imagine in my previous modelling life. I still am no good at what I do but I use the hobby as therapy.
I know have 55+ kits to build and the hardest thing is to choose what is next.
