20,000????? Holy cow! Anyway, there's a few businesses that buy & sell collections. They advertise the in the back of FSM. Take a look and give them a call. They'll give you $ and haul the whole collection away.

If your going to build them that's 1 thing but 20,000 of them my I put my My 2 cents [2c] in here. If I were you and had 20,000 + Models I would try to Support the Troops Overseas.

Here is the lasted email I got of a Club over there that would be VERY HAPPY to get some kit for our Troops.

" Greetings All,

The Anaconda Glue Crew just moved to what I hope will be its permanent home at the LSA Anaconda East Side Morale, Welfare and Recreation facility after our first year operating at the Combat Stress Clinic.  Its been an interesting year... our numbers have ebbed and flowed,  the clinic's Restoration Program has profited through your generous donations (providing a great recreational activity), and now we've secured space that will enable the club to continue and grow.  I am leaving Anaconda shortly, and the club has a new coordinator, Tech Sergeant James Cordeiro, USAF.  He secured a much larger space for the club to get together, with the possibility for expanding club times.  I have included his e-mail address on the cc line.  His postal address here is

TSgt James Cordeiro

USAF/332 ESFS (LBO)

APO AE 09315.

I want to thank all of you for your thoughtfullness and generosity over the past year. You can't imagine the expressions, comments , responses etc... we get when soldiers show up for the first time and see what's available! We still have a fairly good supply of kits, though the numbers are starting to dwindle.  We have just about exhausted paints, cement and building supplies.  We now have a small compressor and Badger basic airbrush, which has made things a little nicer for the builders.  If you have any continued interest in supporting the club, I'm sure any and all donations will be put to good use.

Again, thanks for all your support over the past year.  Good luck to TSgt Cordeiro as he takes the club to a new level.

Very Respectfully, Ed"

As I said, that's just my My 2 cents [2c]

Have a GREAT dal and Good Luck

Bud

If you wish to sell them, i'd hire someone to sort it all out. There should be some very rare and valuable kits in there.

The shere volume i think would make it not worth it to sell the less valuable ones one by one.

And if you sell it on ebay, i'm sure many people would like advanced notice on when you will start putting the kits up for sale.

If you intend to keep some keep the very rare ones, and any others that have value to you.

Welcome to the Forum Zac Sign - Welcome [#welcome].  I'm not a car guy, so can't help much with your question.  But 20,000 kits is overwhelming.  Did he own a warehouse to store them ?
