Greetings from Arizona

Hi all!

Been a couple years since I was last on this site having just returned from Riyadh recently. I would use my old screen name and PW if I could remember them... Long time aircraft builder (collector) but for some reason I now have 3 U-boat kits on hand? In work on the VIIC/41 at the moment but will follow it up with the 1/32 F-18D now that I found decals of my old squadron (VMFA-242). It's good to be back in the States and able to log onto FSM again. Happy modelling!
Scott

Good to have you back!! Whoever you were. Laugh [(-D]  Isn't it weird how kit's multiply when you're not looking?  "I swore there was only two of those." Scratch head.

I just moved up here from Oro valley. I'm actually in Copper Basin or Johnson ranch/Queencreek....go figure?? Just off King HWY and about 14 miles from Florence. Went thru Florence Junction this morning on the way to/from Tempe. Any hobby shops near by?
Figure I will keep Squadron and Discount hobbies busy with mail orders.

Yep.. looks like I will be ordering paints and kits by mail order out here, don't have any reasons for making a trip to Mesa or Phoenix.
I usually get a better deal anyways from Squadron or Discount Hobbies.

Nothing beats being in a fine hobby shop but if I see a super sale from Squadron or e-hobbyland I try to pick it up. Can't make the Modelzona show, need to run down to Tucson in the A.M. and pick up some uniforms and maybe do a little target shooting. But I hope to make it to one of the Phoenix IPMS shows.
