Hello-Newcomber Suggestions?

I had a Boeing V-22 Osprey Tilt-Rotor aircraft kit in the box for over ten years. A couple of years ago I completed about half of it. I once again am going to try to complete the assembly. I find this hobby very theraputic and relaxing. I probably started out with a kit that is a little over my head. However, I like the challange. I've got the fuselage, fuselage interior, cockpit, and landing gear completed - the landing gear looks awful, I broke it while assembling. But that is OK because I am learning new tricks everyday. Oh yea, I almost forgot about the big glue blotch on the inside of the windshield too.I am now working on the wingspan and nacelles. I really want to buy an airbrush for final painting, which I expect to hopefully be around Thanksgiving at my pace.
I spent about $25.00 on various glues and am finding that the "different" glues we use are very important to the finish. And, that you need the right glue for the right job.
I've got a nice little setup in my office at home - complete with cable tv, and a good fan for ventilation, and a comfortable chair. I am adding new tools to my collection all the time.
Anyway, I hope to be around the hobby for awhile this time and am welcome to any "newcomber suggestions", ie. good websites, tips, techniques, recommended model kits, etc.
The most entertaining line I've read in this site so far is "if its not broke, fix it til it is"! Amen to that - I've been there!
