Welcome, Dan!!  Some of the guys probably could help you figure out the mail issue since I know they've mailed kits and supplies overseas  to the troops before.

Thank you all for the kind sentiments.  It's my pleasure to serve this great nation of ours.  We don't have a club here yet, however a couple of us are trying to organize one on our "free" time. We should have an address for you soon though.  m60a3 thanks for your service as well and by the way 88Mike is a truck driver.  Not the safest job over here but I love it.  With that I would say that I am certainly looking for military kits for sure, mostly wheeled vehicle but armor and artillery are fully acceptable as well.  Thanks again for the kind words and have a great day all of you.

1st off Dan......Sign - Welcome [#welcome] Home to our Family. You ask and ask and ask all you want, thats' what these forums are all about.

My kids and I have sent some models over there before and I wanted to ask you. Are you in a club there and if so please post the address for others to see and use to maybe send some kits over..

Here is a link of ' How Too's " that should help you out some.

Hey Dan! Welcome aboard. Ya'll stay safe over there. Always do the right thing. 88Mike? Refresh my memory. I was a 19 Echo many years ago. ( M48/M60 Armor crewman, though I was only on M60A3's )

Looking to start modelling again!
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, November 25, 2006 4:20 PM

Hello all.  I used to build models when I was in grade school and middle school and quit for some unknown reason in high school and never built anymore since then.  I used to build mostly muscle cars and factory stock convertibles.  Since then my tastes have changed to trucks, anything from pickups to big rigs.  I am in the US Army and am currently stationed in Iraq.  Since it has been so long since Ive built a model I am unfamiliar with the "ins-n-outs" of this.  I am full of questions such as shipping concerns of glue and paint.  I really hope to find all my answers in your forum in the near future as my wife and kids really need to know what to send me from the States for Christmas.  Thanks for your ear and any and all info you all can give me is very much appreciated.

Have a great day

Dan R.
