Welcome! Most of us have left the hobby and come back at some point.  There is a large group of German Armor fans here.  You should feel right at home.

Back to modeling after 30 years

Hey all,

Growing up, I built tons of models, everything from armor, to aircraft, to space stuff.  Then I drifted away after other pursuits.  I have decided to pick the hobby up again after all these years.

My main interest is armor, especially German stuff.  The first kit up is a Tamiya 1/48 Tiger I Intial Production (Africa-Corps).  Lots have changed, I remember when tracks were one piece rubber that "snapped together", now I'm dealing with the individual links.

Looking to learn and have fun, this seems to be the place.
