Please forgive me, Cassi.  You may have been on this site longer than me but, I'll bet I've been around a lot longer and that is why I have trouble remembering a lot of things.  Especially after my last go round in the hospital.

But, I will do my best not to forget anymore.  I promise. Wink [;)] Big Smile [:D]

And, Elsie?  Your build looks very good.  Keep us posted on future builds.

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] It's nice to have someone from the "fairer sex" on the forums! Happy building!

P.S. I consider it a "plus" that you're from the UK; I have a couple of "friends" over there, and I'm an Anglophile. Good to have you on-board.

Welcome aboard, Elsie.  You'll like it here.

There used to be other women modelers on here.  Don't know what happened to them, I haven't seen any of them in a while.

Hi From England
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, December 7, 2006 6:54 AM

Hi Folks

Just checking in from England.  Have been browsing around this site for a while and I have finally decided to join.

My name is Elsie and I am 34 years of age.  I have been around modelling for most of my life being introduced through my father and brother.  But didn't actually start modelling until about 15 years ago.  I prefer to build modern aircraft in 1/72 scale although I have just completed a 1/48 Eurofighter.  I also build the occassional ship!

I am looking forward to gaining some valuable modelling advice from this site and offering some if I can.

Cheers for now.

 Elsie
