I've finally decided to join the forum after browsing here for a few months. Just got back into model making after nearly 30 yrs. As a teenager I built mostly 1/32 Monogram and 1/35 Tamiya armor, a few 1/48 Hasegawa and Fujimi (?) aircraft and one or two ships. Now I am concentrating solely on 1/35 armor of WWII. I've learned a great deal from all the wonderful members here (especially the armor forum) and want to say thanks for sharing all of your experiences. I hope to do the same and will start posting soon. I don't consider myself a newbie as my skills were somewhat advanced back in those halcyon days as a teenager. After starting again back in May I was suprised how much I retained and how much easier it is now that I have the right tools and supplies (finally!). I have been amazed at all the new products, methods, tools and equipment that are available now. I'm thoroughly enjoying myself and hope to do so for a long time to come!
