Heller Royal Louis

Hello I'm new in the forum and my work is mainly shipmodels and 1/72 armor and figures in little dioramas ( viƱetas ) I have few time for my hobby and few disponibilities to work hard in it. I spent this year working in the Heller 1/200 Royal Louis, with seven months of work (april to october ), I stop all other works ( 1/72 Abrams, 1/720 Nassau, 1/72 Celts ) in order to dedicate all my time to it. The Heller Royal Louis kit is terrible troublesome, the worst are instructions in french and very poor ones, the sails are totally useless, plastic is fragil, there are no historic information about Royal Louis and you have to work very hard with cutter and sandwater. But the model when finished is a wonderful one and after all I really enjoy working in it, and looking for information I find this forum. Right now I begin the Heller 1/150 Superbe kit for the 2007 work, and this kit is really wonderful, with excelent detail, bigger one, good instructions, and again poor sails, but I took addiction for sailing ships. For shipmodelers I recomend to take a brake from usual WWII ships and taste sailing ships is a good experience Raimon

Welcome, Raimon! I for one would like to see pictures of your ship when it's finished.
