P-51, Great little ship, I like to think it's the early version of the Eagle, saw them flying side by side at an airshow once, what a sight. Didn't have the camera handy at the time though, darn it. I'm a new forum member myself, longtime fsm reader too.
I share your admiration for the Mustang, got a few in kits reserve as well! I also have to agree that you should get a chance to see one at an air show if you can. Once you see that airframe, and hear that Merlin! ... you think your hooked now...
