Hello everyone,
Another old timer returning to the fold Do we ever leave I wonder ? Canadian born, raised and educated in England, still there now, 57yrs old, and the first thing I realised was that the eyes go first lol.
Have been amazed and stunned at the advances in the modelling world. With the huge variety of kits available now I decided I'd go for classic British aircraft. On the go at the moment are Eduard's 1/48 Bristol F2b, my first introduction to photo etch !! Couldn't resist the new Revell 1/32 Hawker Hunter F6, so that's underway too. Had to go large scale to start with, see previous note about the eyes lol.
It's been something of a surprise how the skills came back, not doing too bad so far, well with my eyes it looks good. I've found the Web a real asset as there are so many of you out there willing and happy to share all those tips and hints that make our hobby so fascinating. FSM is the best reference for anyone even thinking about modelling. This forum is a super idea, I'd really no idea I'd be sitting here sharing my own thoughts and efforts with such a wide audience, so much to read and take in.
Anyways, hello to all you happy modellers out there, nice to meet you all
