Welcome. Sorry can't help, but as Erock 68 said you might get somewhere if you post it in the Ship Forum.
It must be nice owning your own hobby store, because you can almost make any model and use it as advertising in your store.Tongue [:P]

Welcome Bill,

Sounds like a very ambitious project, indeed. You may have some luck posting the question in the Ships forum.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Modeling Fanatic playing Hobby Store owner! 1/87

Hi,
Just wanted to say hey. I am a hobby store owner(1.5yrs), always wanted to got chance when my company downsized adn left me w/o job. It is tuff biz w/ all of the internet companys discounting us to death, but I love it.

I am currently working on a 1/87(upto 1/125) scale diorama/HO layout w/ minimal trains and more themes, such as ship yard, militarty base, surrounding community and a downtown area containing a baseball field(minor league). Sounds very ambitious I am sure, but I am looking at it as I life long project.

My current search has me looking for any 1/87(I know there is very little) ships, can use up to 1/125 or so. Don't care old models, toys, whatever I will make it work. Also looking for a USS JFK CVA -67 for a customer of mine, any scale(1/350-1/700). Ok, I think I said enough:)

Take care All, Bill S.
