Hi, sorry to steel the other heading but I thought it was funny. Its been 30 years for me too! I just dove back into it at 43, and its been 30 years or so that I built my last model.
I was pretty good at it back in the 1960's. A pioneer of sorts. I recall doing many of the techniques like dry brushing and weathering, that I taught myself as a teenager. Now I am trying to teach my son about modeling. Perhaps I am pushing it, he is only 8, and does'nt seem overly interested in it. I, on the otherhand, have bought my first airbrush. A Badger Omni 4000, thanks to threads on this site. I always used a brush in the early days. So, I get to learn a new skill. I enjoy 1/35 armor, and aircraft of all era's. I also bought a sub model, I am going diving on a real U boat this summer, and wanted to make a model of it for a keep sake.
I look forward to discussing modeling with everone. Thanks for all the great help you have already provided.
