Hello from Nashville - local model shop recommendations?
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 2:26 PM

Greetings fellow modelers and fans of the hobby! I'm a new resident to Nashville, and a long time model builder, and I'm in search of the very best location here in the city for kits and supplies. I purchase via eBay and various online stores but would prefer to support my local business(es). Thanks for the recommendations!

Welcome to the Forum.  Have never been down in that area, however, I have plans to see your neck of the country some day.

Welcome Patrick!  Have you looked in the ads in the back of a copy of FSM.  I don't have one with me or I'd look for you.  I hope to visit Nashville once.  I've got a relative who died in the CW and was buried there somewhere.

I have looked for Nashville stores in the back of the magazine but none have ever shown up. I'm making my way down a short list of places and had some time to check out a couple of shops this weekend.

There is a big model show in Cookeville sometime in April, I believe, and it's not too far from here. And yes, there's more than enough history and things to see to keep you busy in this part of the country. :)
