My first time posting
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, February 24, 2007 7:51 PM

Hi - this is my first time posting.  I've been modeling since the Kenndy adminstration, on and off.  I do mostly airplanes in 1/72 scale, as I can get more of them on the shelf that way.  My favorite era is 1950's jets.  Probably because I remember them flying over my house as a kid about 150 feet high.  Anyway, I like to do things with some color and I try to find ways to make an otherwise drab-looking paint scheme pop a little known to do a Nascar car occasionally.  My last project was this 1/87 German pre-WWII locomotive by esci - I love the red undercarriage...Now I am starting on the new Revell  gato sub.  It's a big one, but still 1/72.

Hi to everyone. I'm glad to join the modelling community. I've commenced building models since November last year and enjoying it. I'm actually buying more models than I could build (at the moment). It is addictive. Since coming back to building models I have built the following:

1. 1:48 Spitfire Mk1 (Tamiya)

2. 1:72- P47 Thunderbolt, FW190, P40N Warhawk (Hasegawa)

Currently building a P51 Mustang Razorback (Italeri 1:72)

Anyway that's my little introduction.

Happy modelling Smile [:)]
