Hi everyone,

I returned to modelling a few years ago after a thirty year hiatus and I'm having an absolute ball with some great kits and aftermarket stuff that didn't exist all those years ago.

I live in Newcastle, England, with my wife, four cats, three horses and a couple of dozen hens.

I build cars of all sorts but race cars from dirt cars, through old NASCAR to old F1 are my favourite subjects.

Here is one I am wotking on right now:

Question and I know this may be a bit of a long shot. I found this site in mid 2004 but never got round to signing up. At the time I was looking for ref. stuff for the Accurate Miniatures Mclaren M8b, which is how I found the site.

There was a member by the name of Harv who made a post saying that he had a way of building the Mclaren so that the rear section could be in place but could then removed to view the engine detail. Something most seem to say is not possible. I printed the post out but it got damaged in a flood and now I cannot make out most of it.

Just wondered if he was still around to help or if anyone else can?

Welcome to the Forums Sign - Welcome [#welcome].  If Harv was a screen name, you could check the Memberlist.  If not,  Good luck Smile [:)].

Not your glasses, the memberlist is a little obscure.  Go down near the bottom of the Forum Home Page & look where it says Who Is On Line.  It wil say XX of YYYYYY memders on line...The YYYYYY number is in red graphics...Click on that number & you'll go to the Member list.  Once there, you can search by several criteria.

Regards,  Rick

Wow! man that is obscure!!

I found him on the membership list but his last post was sometime in 2003. No e-mail or Messenger address's either. I PM'd him but I guess the chances of him picking it up are slim to say the least.

Thank's for the help anyway guys. Much appreciated.
