                        Hello,

                        My name is Dana Geraths and I am a professional model builder and exhibit designer from Salem, OR.

                        When I am not building something for a client I like to build models for competition. I have no preferences and build aircraft, armor, ships...etc. I have an interest in Japanese aircraft from WWII and find myself building that subject more often than any other.
                        I currently have about 15 projects going on the workbench, both clients orders and models for my own collection.

                        I must say that, you have done some impressive work.

                        I like the site that you have (I added it to a list of my favorites) The Dragon wagon you have done for the "Moving Memorial" is spectacular.

                        hi Dana, welcome to the forum. I checked out your wonderful website. You have some beautiful work on there. I really liked the Sherman in winter, I was sad to not see more photos though. Your aircraft were amazing too. I dont really build aircraft that much, but Im currently venturing that way. I build mostly figures and armor. I also offer my building services for figures. If you dont mind Id like to add your website as a link for people looking for aircraft and armor dioramas. thanks for sharing your work, tim

                        Hi Dana---I, too, made the Tamiya Dragon Wagon and consider it one of my best models. I used the figures that were supplied with the kit though. Do you think that these figures "take away" from a model because they somehow never look quite realistic..although your guys do. I wish I had left my left-side door open the way you did. Looks great. I have my Wagon under a glass display case to keep it dust-free and new-looking...The case cost more than the kit did! I did the same thing with the Tamiya 1:350 New Jersey battleship, although I used the Missouri kit with New Jersey markings because I wanted a W W II New Jersey and both BBs are of thesame class.... That ship (nw Jersey)supported me with covering fire when I was an 18-year old radioman-rifleman in my 25th Division landing in the Philippines in 1945...

                        I just joined up with this site today and already have received helpful advice from a couple of guys. I've never enjoyed a site a much as this....Again, welcome...

                        Hello & welcome to the forum !
                        Glad to see another person building WW II Japanese aircraft. Resources for these birds can be hard to come by, compared to Luftwaffe, US, UK, etc.
