Welcome Jan,

Sounds like you're ready to get back into the swing of things.

Hope to see some of you work on the Skyraiders and the Corsairs!

Big Smile [:D]

Hi there, my name is Jan and I'm a Swede who has moved to Glasgow in Scotland to live with my scottish fiancee.
I prefer the 1/48 scale and I like to build models from WWI up to Vietnam.
Most of the time I try to find aircrafts that was flown by pilots who has Swedish (Scandinavian) ancestors etc.
Names can be useful too, like Anderson, Peterson, Lundqvist, Hanson etc.etc.
Or have a name like the aircraft that I'm looking for now, "Swedes steede" (?) I've seen the decals for it but I can't remember who made them (all help much appreciated), or any other cool name or noseart.
I'm also fanatic when it comes to USS Yorktown CV-5 and 10 and Uss Coral Sea CV-43, Having a relative who served on the USS Coral Sea. Some of my other favourites are CV-2, 3, 31, 34, 38, 59-64.
Have not been building for a few years now I'm making a comeback and have decided to build a few Skyraiders and F4U Corsairs to get back in shape if you know what I mean.

That's all for now, all the best!
