I am so sorry to late responce.

Hello Yunos san,

The 1/72 U-boat is a big kit but you should see the US submarine Gato kit, that is a huge kit! I am hoping Revell will make a Japanese, British and maybe a Russian WW-II sub kit so to have all the major submarines in kit form. I have the S-boat too but have not started working on it yet, good luck on yours...

Welcome!!  Every modeller does things different.  They do what works best for them. Experiment until you find what works for you.

Your English is very good.  See you around the forum.

Looking forward to seeing pictures of your work on the forum.

Work in progress:

Revell 1/72 VIIC/41 (now I got the paint, just need to finish adding all those PE parts)

Speaking of paint...I dropped $77 on just paint alone at the LHS in Tucson OUCH!!Sigh [sigh].  Had to replace everything since I left it all in Riyadh last August, and that's not even all the colors I will eventually need but it's a start.

Konichiwas....igaga des-ka?  That's just about all the Japanese I remembered from my days over there so long ago.

Welcome to the forum, you will find a lot of helpful tips here and answers to any questions you might have about a certain modelling technique.. I too like the 1/35th scale kits but have been bouncing between armor, figures, aircraft and now a couple of ship kits. There was a couple of great hobby shops I use to go to while in Iwakuni and on Okinawa, still have a few of those kits waiting to be built to this day. As for finding time to build a kit, I would like to work on a kit all day but unable to so I just try to sit down an hour or so at a time and just put a couple things together and slowly get it all together. Each of us has our own speed.
