Just want to say hi!

Hello everyone!!

New to the forums so I thought I would psot an intro before asking all of my questions!

Name; Ashton

Location Sacramento CA

Occupation; Bio-tech, currrently trying to become a CHP officer!

Intrests, restoring vinage VW's and now building models and dioramas again!

 Little about myself,

It has been about 12 years since I picked up a airbrush and went at it on a model....what peaked my intest again was wwhile I was cleaning out my garage I found a box full of models I never started or finsihed!  Mostly Starwars stuff;  The Millenium Falcon, cutaway version, X-Wing, speeder bike, Slave 1, and a P-51D mustang...quite the assortment!

So After going through all that I decided it is time to pick the hobby back up again!  I look forward to chatting w/ you all and giving and looking for some good advice!

Welcome, Ashton!  Since you are a fan of VW's and a modeller, I'd recomend the book Volkswagen Military Vehicles of the Third Reich by Blaine Taylor.  It is a really neat history and the illustrations are good.  It's worth the read if you can find it.  Perhaps it might tempt you to add a few models of them to your shelf.
