I was totally taken back when I found your post on the web. The P-40 "Miss Fury" #43 you modelled from the profile in Carl Molesworth's book was my father's Warhawk.... He would be real proud.
You did an excellent job on the color scheme and you certainly got my attention when I was surfing the web tonight.
Dad was a great pilot, a true warrior who loved his country and was an outstanding husband and father of four.
I attend the annual 57th FG reunions with my mother each year. The stories the survivors tell about each other makes you wish you could have been with them in the desert. They were a tough group and led the way for all the pilots of today. They were all brothers in one way or another.
I can't wait to show my sisters, brother and my mother your work. Thanks again for the great job on "Miss Fury".....
