New to this forum, and a returning to scale modelling after a few years away. Previously completed various F1 GP race cars and WWII armour in the 1980s, then to Tamiya 1/12th scale motorcycles in the very late 1990s, was a keen reader of Scale Auto Modeller (although missing Vol 1. issues 3,4 & 5) until it's closure.
Returning to scale modelling (time allowing) with an interest in 1/12th scale GP bikes, 1/35th scale WWII German Panzer III variants and Panzer VI auf E variants, although, I also have a long term interest to building a few wooden sailing ship models.
Also progressing a BA(Hons) in History with the Open University here in the UK (whilst maintaining a full career and an expanding young family), can leave time a little limited. However, I've always found scale modelling as a form of stress relief and enjoyment which I can hopefully pass on to the little ones as they grow.
