That's the idea.  Several of the guys are using it to get their lady into it.

Tell her she's welcome to join at anytime and can build anything she wants. Being a lady is the only requirement, even a few little ladies have joined us.

Yep, spot on, Aaron, there's a Lanc at the RAAF Museum in Bullcreek.  She looks a bit different now as she's been fully restored complete with noseart etc!

I'm not sure my wife can sit still enough for modelling, cdw, but she is interested.  We'll see!

Welcome, Andy!

Sure the wife supports you but can you get her into the hobby.  There is a Ladies' Group Build going on this year.

My wife suggested to me last night that I build a Lancaster for an old gunner I'm interviewing so I think she supports me getting back into modeling!

I spent several weeks in Perth about 20 years ago. Loved it. Am I right in remembering that there is a Lanc at an air museum in Perth?

Getting back into building WWII aircraft after a long absence.  Trying to catch up on all of the aftermarket stuff and remember how to do a few things.  Never used an airbrush before, couldn't afford one as a teenager.  Now, at 30, I'd like to think I can improve the finished product by investing in one!  Time will tell.

Not sure what I'll tackle first but will do it straight out of the box (from the supply in our cupboards!) with some aftermarket decals and maybe some extras to see how I go with it.  Will see how I go.

Some beautiful work here.

Cheers

Andy
