Hi Paul and welcome to the forums. I too have recently returned to the hobby after a long absence and I like your attitude. It is so easy to get carried away on a kit now, what with all the aftermarket accesories available now. I have to keep reminding myself that I'm doing this to relax--it's not a job. Any project can-and will- be exactly what you make of it. So sit back, take a deep breath and build something that looks good to YOU.

My name is Paul and I live In Kent. south East corner of England. I have been modeling over a number of years with a break between the age of 16 to 27. My main interests revolve around history. Going right back to when Rome came to Britain to the presant date.

My maine areas of interest are WW1 and WW2 and I am into figures/aircraft and ships. Also fortafacations.

As for my modelling skills well they are about avarage. I enjoy new skills to improve myself but I prefer to enjoy myself rather than trying to build some pie in the sky job. Modeling to me is suppose to be a relaxing hobby? I have a good selection of books built up over the many years and of course a very understanding partner!

At the moment I am looking into building a landing ship gun which was used by the RN/RM on the beaches of Normandy.
