Paul Mather - UK Sci-Fi Modeller

Good Morning. Just thought I'd better do the intro thing.

My name is Paul Mather from Hyde, England. (Home of the Infamous Dr Shipway).

I am 30-something, married to my lovely Missus Liz, with two children aged 3 and 8mnths (as at Sept 2003).
I work as a Lecturer in ICT and Computing at Hyde Clarendon College and apart from Sci-Fi Modelling my hobbies also include :
Reading (voraciously),
Writing (occasionally and badly)
Painting (improving)
Sketching ( http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/p/a/paulmather/paulmather.html )

I also love Music of all kinds and the movies.

I am heavily involved in helping to set up the SFM:uk web site ( http://www.scifimodels.org.uk )
And I am pretty active on many other modelling forums where I am either known as Paul_Mather or Jedellion.

Here is a link to some of my projects

Looking forward to seeing you out there in this and other forums.

I just went to your web site, and was immediately and duly impressed! Your skills and talents are quite obvious. We just need to get you over to the "dark side" (armor). Welcome to the forum.

Hey Paul, I went and checked out all the links you provided. Interesting stuff! Your gaming history is much like my own, RQ is one heck of a game. Did you ever play Star Fleet Battles? Your music taste are even like my own. Thanks for the cool links.Cool [8D]

Welcome to FSM paul. I have not tried doing any sci-fi kits yet but maybe I'll try one in the future. I model mostly armor nowadays. Anyway, good to have you around.
