JUST FOUND F.S.M.
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, September 27, 2003 3:33 AM
Hello from the UK,
I'm Mark, [E name {**9**}*Barnaby*], I play a lot of mohaa/sh/bt when I'm not in modeling mode and that is my 9er tag.
I have a wide model builing interest that changes from time to time ie building 7mm = 1 foot railway layout at the moment.
I want to model a diorama of soldiers/planes/millitary vehicles---is there a selection for these in say a scale size of 1:43. I know Tamiya do a 1:35 range for vehicles.
Thanx

Welcome to the forums, Barnaby.

I don't know if there is too much available in 1:43 scale but, I'm sure if they can be found, someone here will know. A good place to ask would be in the Dioram forum.

Good luck on the railway layout. Post some pictures of it, if you can.

Welcome to FSM Mark. Haven't heard of anything in 1/43 ... 1/48 is close though and there are some kits available in that scale.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

Welcome to FSM. I think 1/43 is mainly just a car model scale, but there may be some cross overs to military soft skins.

Welcome to the forum, Barnaby. I think that train scale "O" is 1/43 (HO means "half O, which is 1/87), so you may find figures & buildings at train sites. There are some 1/48 armor kits, but they are few & far between. Good luck on your project !

Welcome haven't heard anything about 1:43 but you will probably find it from one of FSM members.
