Preston,

Welcome to the Forums and welcome back to the hobby! Mountain Home's a nice part of Arkansas. I moved to Milwaukee from Rogers, AR, last year. Spent a decade in the Ozarks.

Happy landings!

Hello All

I've been lurking here for a few weeks. I like what I see so I subscribed to the mag and joined this morning.

I'm a 41 yo going thru my 2nd Childhood or a mid-life crisis. Wife hasn't decided for me, yet.Blush [:I] I'm in north-central AR where I work as a draftsman. I've not built a model since I was 14 but I'm really excited about getting back into it. The Diorama threads here make my mouth water.

I most enjoy 1:48 WWII planes and bombers. Built a few tanks, battleships and carriers years ago. Some semi-trucks, too. It was back during the CB craze, after-all.Wink [;)] I just ordered a B-17 and a P-38 last night.

I had a wonderful time with my grandfather yesterday. He was an aircraft mech in the Navy in WWII. Stationed in Memphis (remembers the Memphis Belle when she was new) until Pearl Harbour when he was sent to CA. He worked primarily on Bearcats, Hellcats and Corsairs. Was later assigned to the Bonne Homme Richard. I've not seen him so delighted to talk about anything in years. Happy Memorial Day to any vets out there!

I hope I can continue to learn and occasionally offer some input.
