Back to an old hobby
Posted by kenny_conklin on Sunday, September 28, 2003 5:34 PM
Hello everyone! My name is Kenny and i am from Queens New York City. I have just returned to modeling form a long break. I started maodeling by watching my Dad and took after his intrest of WW II modeling. Unfortunately I broke away from modeling in my teens then joined the ARMY and lost alot of quality time to model. But now I have re-found the thing that I enjoyed most doing with my time... Modeling! I have been away for awhile so I am hoping to learn new things from all of you and from Fine Scale itself. Thanks for your time all and hope to meet some new modelers in the future.

Welcome to the forums Kenny (and back to modeling)

Glad to have a born again modeler join the ranks here.

Do you model certain subjects or anything that strikes your interest?

Welcome to FSM Kenny and a big welcome back to modelling. The nice thing is it doesn't matter when you start or re-start, it's a great hobby to be involved in.

Enjoy the forums !!!

Many of us have done the start/stop/start thing. Glad you've started again. It's a great way to relax and express yourself. Welcome to the group!

Kenny: Welcome back to the lifestyle where one can get lost in his own world. Anyway that' s one reason why I've been at it for as long as I have.

We build replicas of weapons, we play with sharp objects, we smell exotic fumes and it's all legal. Is this a great hobby or what?
