Hi To everyone. I'm 52 years old and live in Northeast Ohio. Have been building model airplane kits since I was six or so. Still have my first models, a Hawk Nieuport 17 and the SPAD 13. I have been through many scales and eras in my wondering interests, but have come back to where I started which is building the old vintage early plastic kits of my youth. I have been in a couple IPMS groups over the years and have many valuable friends come and go through the experience. I always come back to love those early kits of my youth and their simplness and beauty that era was. I love the highly complex kits of today too and have built a number but they don't match for me anyhow the era of the 1950's-early 60's kits that I grew up on. I am building and restoring every early 1/48 and 1/50 scale WW-II model I can find and building them in the era of their time, another words paint and decals matching the time of their release. If you put a moden era exact paint job on a Lindberg Ju-87B, it looks wrong. Would love to chat with other folks who are doing the same. I'm still looking for a few hard to find kits but everything shows up eventually. Love the early old jet kits too. We sure have a fine magazine here for all us builders and collectors and hope they all keep up the fine work. Build on folks !!!! Marty
