I'm a teenager whos been modeling for some time, though I have a little difficulty eith finishing the models, I've started. I've treid about every aspect of the hobby you can try from railroading to rockets. And I like it all. I'm still relativily inexpierenced though my patience level has gone up. My forte is painting small sacale figures.

Welcome to the forum, bobb. Patience is one of the most important parts of building models, great to see that you recognize its importance. You've come to the right place for info. Chances are, if you can ask a question, someone will know the answer. Good luck & have fun !

Welcome to FSM Bob. This hobby can certainly assist in the "patience" department. God to have a well rounded young modeller come and join us here.

Enjoy the forums.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

hi bob, welcome back to modeling, just a little hint though, when the bug bites you and you start seeing an interest in girls, keep the hobby going, the girls will come and go but the hobby will always be here. lol lol lol .

Welcome to the forum! Patience is something that took me a while to work out as well; gluing parts to my fingers, to the table, to the dog..........keep up the building and it will come. Good for you to enjoy different aspects of the hobby, it's too easy to get burned out in one niche; you can pick up different ideas from rocketry and railroad modelling.
