Here's my Ol'Redneck Race Cars..

I have built all types of models from planes to boats to cars in the almost 50 years I've been building. I now build mostly '50's and '60's stock cars like this one.

Here's a site for my latest racing model project

Very cool! That's when "Win on sunday and sell on monday" mean't something. I wish there still was stock car racing. Any way welcome to FSM, glad to have you here.

Welcome to the forums, mitchum.

Although I am a German armor modeler, I also dabble in NASCAR models (I was and still am a Dale Sr fan Sad [:(] )

Here is the last NASCAR model I did. The spoiler braces were scratchbuilt from .025 styrene tube and I built the window net down:

Howdy, mitchum!
Thar ain't a thang wrong with them there cars you'se a-buildin'! I really kinda likes 'em! Oh, yeah, and welcome to the forum!! :) :)

I especially liked Fireball Roberts. I watched him in a race at the old Charlotte Motor Speedway when I was about 8 or 9 years old, and then we were visiting my grandmother at Charlotte Presbyterian Hospital when they brought him in to the Emergency Room in what would be his last race. Seeing some of your old cars brings back memories.
