Hi everyone. I'm just returning to modeling after a 15+ year hiatus. The last model I completed was a 1/32 Revell Me262 when I was about 15... I've always liked large scale WWII aircraft. I was just starting to get serious with modeling (I finally got an airbrush for my birthday) when I became distracted with girls, a part-time job, my first car, etc.
I caught the bug again after stopping in a local Hobby Lobby with my wife and kids. While she was looking at scrapbooking supplies, I wandered over by the models. After browsing the shelves, I decided to pick up a Tamiya 1/48 A6M2 Zero. I thought I better start up again with a cheaper kit (work off the rust) before spending big money on one of the nice Hasegawa or Trumpeter kits.
I no longer have that old airbrush (a Badger 150) so I'm looking for a new airbrush/compressor combo. Any suggestions? The Iwata Revolution CR / Smart Jet compressor sure look nice.
