Old guy
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 3:13 AM
Hi all!
I'm an old guy who after some 25 years of absense have rediscovered the joy of modelling and painting figures. I'm very much into Napoleonic uniforms and WW II equipment (tanks and airplanes mainly).
I have a lot of questions on painting , cause boy, has it developed since I used to fool around with it...
Hoping to get a lot of advice.
/Chris

Hi Chris (Stoffe),

Welcome to FSM and welcome back to the hobby. Don't worry. Questions rarely remain unanswered here in these forums (actually should be fora). Just fire away and we will be happy to help.

Stick around and have fun.

Welcome to the forum & welcome back to the hobby ! I left for a similar amount of time. Kept wondering what resin & photo-etch were. Now I use them whenever I can. Have you been introduced to "Future" yet ? Good luck & have fun !

Welcome to FSM Chris and welcome back to the world of modelling.

Yes there have been a few changes but the basics remain the same so it won't take you too long before you're churning out the kits.

See you around the Armour Forum !!!
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

Hi Chris, you found the right place to have questions about stuff. Don't think there are very many that go unanswered with less than a few solutions.

Hello Stuffe and welcome to our happy forum!
I'm another returnee to the modelling scene, and this forum has really helped me to keep it alive this time. I'm sure you'll have the same feelings as time goes on (remember, we're not getting older, we're moving forward).
Yes, there is a lot to learn about new paints, materials, and techniques, and although it's new stuff, it makes the hobby even more fun.
