Howdy folks

After a lotta years, and now my teen son (15) shows some interest, I've come out of the deep ends of the modelling closet... :)

Kevin, 46, former modelling addict and sniffer of spray painted fumes, splotter of glues and adhesives, messer of tables, creater of a pissed off wife, with newly refound passion, booted to desk and shelves in the 'shop', out of HER house..

Been so long since I did anything with scale plastic modelling. Started with a 48th Hurricane. Sad to say there is more bondo in that bird than plastic. With enough paint, and safely flown high enough at our public Library, no one but kid and I know how much it weighs! :)

Ton of medical problems bring me to the point of having *lots* of time.
Between a real life M-37 Dodge truck being depot level overhauled, guns, dogs, kid and yard work, I needed a break from moving heavy things around. Scale modelling seemed like a good thing.

Own a Badger 200 that was bought when my buddy and I were 15. Both bought the kit then, little gun has served me well. Refound it. Had loaded it to a relative, he put it away wet, literally glued to the boc.

Badger said "...send it back, we'll take care of it". Few weeks later my little gun was home, rebuilt, ready to go, "No Charge".. Called them up asked "HOW MUCH!!!???", "No charge Sir, lifetime warranty"..

Well, if they'll fix it, we'll use it.

Been teaching son and interested other kids assembly, paint, and spray with both cans and airbrushing. Been fun to pass along the ability to the kids to learn about aircraft (my passion) and everything else that causes them to lwant to learn more.

Shop wall is full of the kits I've accumulated and never built. Good time now to plan for winter time and "havin' sumthin' to do" other than whine about the cold.. :)

Great to have stumbled across the Forums and the Reasonably Knowledgeable Individuals here.

Looking forward to showing off some of our work as it progresses.
