New to modeling altogether
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, October 9, 2003 8:26 PM
Hello, my name is Boris and I just started to get into real modeling. The last time I built a kit was a snap it kit when I was 9 or 10 years old. I am now 23. My first kit was a Tamiya Loctite Zexel GT-R Skyline. It came out pretty good except for the fact I had no idea that are solutions to making decals stronger and making them contoured the the curves of the body with the use of Microscale products such as Micro Sol and Set. But anywho, I like auto builds and plan to do aircrafts as well. I have found a good amount of links for scratchbuilding, hobby shops, review sites, links. So I have a good foundation for getting tips and help and pics from more experienced builders but I would love some more from this community. Any would be greatly appreciated. Thats my intro about myself!! A little long , sorry. Nice to meet everyone Smile [:)]
