Yep, Norfolk Naval Shipyard in P-Town, but I work out of NRMD at the Naval Station in Norfolk. I am TDY in Kingsbay, Georgia for a couple of weeks. Which boat is yours, the Tucson or the Alaska?

Small world. My ship (for the next 4 months anyway) USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) is currently sitting in the yards in Newport News.

Hey everybody!  Used to build models when I was a kid and I started getting back into it off and on a couple of years ago.  I never got really good with any advance techniques and am really excitied to see all the help that this web site can provide! Right now I'm working on three different models.  Do work on a different one as each one is drying.  The longterm project I've got going on right now is a 1956 Ford F-100.  So far I've chopped the top and converted the hood to a flip front end.  Didn't know how to do this on a model, but I do know how to do it on a real truck, so that's the knowledge that I used to start the project.  Seems to be going well and I look forward to posting pictures and getting ya'lls thoughts on it!
