Greetings from Minneapolis
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, October 26, 2007 8:52 PM

Hello and greetings from Minneapolis, MN.  I did a Google search for a high-profile modeling forum  and found this place.

I run one of the larger geopolitical discussion sites on the internet (400,000 posts).  We have modeling contests where members can submit work to be judged by the membership and win a prize (tin of Royal Dansk Butter Cookies -- it's an inside thing ;)).  I would like to recruit more people to enter the contests, but don't want to run afoul of forum rules here by advertising.

We aren't a modeling forum, we just have a small modeling section where members who do model can show off their work, along with the contests.  We're not seeking to financially gain - would just like more skilled and numerous people to enter the contests.  So I guess I'll ask if it would be alright to list the address of my forum, so people who may be interested in entering our contests can if they'd want to.

You've come to a good place, but you might try directly emailing FSM about it if the admins or moderators don't give an answer in this post. I think it may be against the advertising rules. Anyway, Sign - Welcome [#welcome]

Welcome to the Forums Sign - Welcome [#welcome].  I'm not sure of FSM's policy on this, but as long as it isn't commercial in nature I think you're OK.  Post it & find out what the Moderators think Smile [:)].

Regards,  Rick
