Hello! Just discovered the site. I'm impressed! I'm in my 40s now and used to build WWII airplanes as a teenager. Haven't really built in a lot of years but getting back into it. Will be doing a diorama of my dad's crashing a navy plane into a Philippine island during WWII and hope to pick up some tips. I'm humbled by all the expertise out there, hope to do this project justice. Look forward to conversing with you all.

You'll find there are a lot of great modellers here who are more than willing to lend a hand in all projects. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Hey Matt and Welcome aboard what part of Iowa are you in. I was born in Council Bluffs and spent some time in Oakland(Still have family there)...Im in Florida now. sounds like a neat plan on the dio be sure to share some photos with us.

Matt welcome to the forum. I was born and raised in Davenport IA. ( Quad Cities )
We now live in the Phoenix Arizona area. Sure miss Iowa and the Mississippi River this time year .
