Belated greetings! Here's my story, short and sweet - I took up the hobby late (in my thirties). Had a lot of spare time and decided to build some naval models that came out looking pretty poor. Well, the ship model selection and the local store was lousy too, so I decided to switch to aircraft, read a great book by Roscoe Creed and was on my way. Over the course of a couple of years I built many WWII aircraft and some jets, but eventually I narrowed my interest to 1/72 scale WWI aircraft BUT after building just 2 models, I went through a divorce and had to stop modeling. The hiatus lasted for 7 years - I'm just getting back into it now. In fact, I've re-stared the very project I was in the middle of in 1996, a Sopwith Camel! Hopefully I'll have it complete in a few weeks - so my little 1/72 Sopwith Camel that took 7 years to built!
Gotta be record! Well, it's good to be back - things sure have changed!
