models and the troops

hi , just wanted to let EVERYONE know that you can help the troops ,past ,present and future in the manner i am going to suggest . i , for many years was a volunteer at my local v.a. hosp . the guys and gals do have options (if ambulatory ) to go to occupational therapy and rec . therapy . they do like to build models . oh , i know , we have groups such as help hospitalized vets . fine to a point . the vets i dealt with wanted planes , ships and armor they served in and around . this ,for the most part isnt the case . sure , some shouldn,t be reminded . those that do still need your input in the form of unbuilt models . you can contact your local v.a. and ask if its alright and donate , maybe the models you might not get to build , or models you got in a bunch that you won,t build . okay , now heres the point , that vet is someones son ,daughter etc , and DEFINITELY neighbor. this gesture helps in the healing process and gives them  something to do besides crafts they might not have an interest in . are  you  game? i think the v.a. and d.a.v. , v.f.w. and american legion will help if you ask . god bless and have a good day  tankerbuilder
