Info needed on sending gifts to British & Commonweath forces.

Good day one and all,
I see from reading through the posts that modellers are as generous with their gifts as their advice. A hearty well done to you all Thumbs Up [tup]
Would any of you in the know please let me know how I can send gifts to British troops in Afghanistan etc. As all the info I've seen in here has been for the brave US forces. I think many of the Brits who pop into this Forum have the same attitude as I do to the MOD, slackers who need some 'attitude adjustment'..... So any info would be most gratefully appreciated.
Keep up the GREAT work guys n gals.
All the best,
Mick.

You could try contacting your local recruitment office to see what they can do, or perhaps the closest regiment's chaplain.

Here in Canada you need to send packages to specific personnel or risk having the package sent back. Trying to arrange a donation through "normal" channels resulted in me being blocked at every turn. It wasn't until I came across a connection within a base that I was successful.

Good luck to you!

So long folks!

Good day to you Bgrigg,
Many thanks for the advice. I'll look into the Recruiting Office situation. Obviously there isn't a central place as the US forces have, left to the MOD that's no surprise. If I have any joy I'll re-post any info for others looking to do the same.
Good luck to you all.
