Jon, The 123-style of judging is based on first doing the "basics" of contest modeling: - no glue marks
- sink marks/ejector pin marks- filled & sanded
- flash (excess plastic from molds)
- alighment - parts, wheels, tracks (& road wheels) and landing gear
- seams - filles/sanded
- paint- no "orange peel", overspray, consistant sheen, lint/dust, brush marks, etc.
- decals - no silvering
