The best summertime model show and contest in the southeast is back!
For the first time since 2007 IPMS-Eastern Carolina Plastic Modelers will be hosting DownEastCon-2010.

What: DownEastCon-2010
When: July 10, 2010 9:00-5:00
Where: Garber United Methodist Church, New Bern NC.

We have two themes this year:
Theme:
We have two themes this year. A model may not be entered in both Themes. A Theme Award entry must be accompanied by supporting documentation.
"North Carolina on my Mind".
This is our usual contest theme. To be eligible for this Theme Award, models must represent a person, place, or event that is related to North Carolina, or happened in North Carolina, or involved people from North Carolina.
"New Bern 300th".
New Bern is celebrating its 300th birthday in 2010. To be eligible for this Theme Award, models must represent a person, place, or event that is related to the City of New Bern. Visit the City website, www.visitnewbern.com, and the 300th celebration site, www.newbern300.com, for ideas.
