Not from Florida, but being there on vacation during the event, I decided to visit the Modelpalooza contest. While I'm sure you can find photos of the contest winners on their web site, I wanted to share my experience.
Nice show hosted by the IPMS Orlando Chapter. There was definitely some modeling skills on display at all levels. My whole family enjoyed looking through both the competion and vendor areas.

There was so much more within the entries that I just didn't have the opportunity to photo but were definately worthy. The vendor area contained a diverse accumulation of vintage and new kits sporting both MSRP, collector prices, and great deals.
The Star Wars cosplay members made it extra special, and let's not forget about the raffle, viewers voting area, and food service.
The whole thing was well run and enjoyable. Thanks for making this "out of towner" feel welcome. Congradulations to the Orlando IPMS group for holding a wonderful and truely enjoyable event.
