It's that time again for the IPMS Region 4 - Great Lakes Show, Swap, and Contest in Columbus, Ohio, on February 24, 2024.

I'm not posting this formally as a member of the club, instead just to let others that are nearby be aware of the event.

FSM has information about the contest and you can also locate the details at the Columbus IPMS Club web site:

https://www.ipmscolumbus.org

Based on my past experiences at the show, I can tell you it is first class all the way. For those hunting for that certian model or part, there will be 75 vendor tables. If you want to show or compete in the contest, they normally have 57 model categories, 8 special category awards, and 6 special theme awards. There is also normally a very nice silent auction and raffle. More about the event can be found here:

https://www.ipmscolumbus.org

I plan on attending and possibly competing in a couple catagories. I will take pictures to share with the forum.

It would be nice to know if anybody who frequents or posts here (in the forum) plans to attend the event? Perhaps if your going we can meet and possibly even do lunch or something?

NEXT PROJECT:

Great. I did not participate in the contest but am looking forward to the products displayed at the exhibition.

It's great that you plan on attending and possibly competing in a couple of categories. Taking pictures to share with the forum is a wonderful idea, and it's thoughtful of you to reach out to others who may be interested in attending. It's always nice to have the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow enthusiasts at events like these.
