Hello !  Well , my stash hasn,t melted down since midnight ! I guess the predictions were what I thought they were-HOGWASH ! My workbench is filled with work and it,s cold and normal here in TEXAS hill country . Guess I,ll just keep working on models.Hmmm , now where did the cat go ?

That reminds me, I haven't seen either of our cats yet today either. Their food and water bowls are still full. I wonder where they could be? Confused

The cat,s back ! YAY ! She was carrying a model part and laid it at my feet . Funny , I haven,t seen that part since summer . I thought the concrete monster had eaten it for dinner .Oh , no teeth marks either , GOOD CAT ! Now ,on to the good stuff . I have a new client !

Does anyone know of MORGAN,S WONDERLAND ? It,s a theme park that caters to physically and mentally challenged youngsters here in SAN ANTONIO . Well , when you arrive there,s a large sculpture of two hands reaching heavenward and they have a stainless steel butterfly(MONARCH ) that they are reaching for. tha hands and forearms are bronze . Well , to make a long story short.

My LHS told this fellow (The artist) to call me . he wanted a ship model from his past as a young man. Seems he was on a relief crew , that filled out to specs the number of crew required for a PANAMA CANAL transit . The ship ? The older and pre WW 2 "HAWAIIAN PILOT" type vessel. Her name was the U.S. PILOT !

So now you really know what I am up to . My WARSPITE and GLEAVES class ships (for me ) are coming along.I can,t seem to find someone to get this computer to let me show you pics. We are still trying though. Well , I think I like this thread - - catchya later---tankerbuilder
