Copper State Modeling
Posted by Longhorn-jed on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 11:49 AM

Has anyone had any dealings with the new owners of Copper State Modeling.? They supply decals/parts for  WWI aircraft - the only one I have seen that has those for the 1/28 kits by Revell and Advent.  It was formerly owned by a guy in Arizona and had good reviews.  It is now based out of the UK and you communicate wth a gentleman named Ilya Sobelev.  I am planning on ordering some decals and parts from them but was interested in anyone's experience with them prior to placing about a $100 order.

Haven't tried the new owners, but I do know that  Rollmodels.com in the States does carry their line.  From them I have ordered, but usually takes a few weeks before they get around to sending your shipment.

regards,

Jack

Thanks for the response.  I checked Rollmodels and they had only the Rickenbacker decals - not the ones I am after.  Wish they had more but not so lucky. I will post my results with the UK site/company

FYI - I have ordered several times from the newly arisen Copper State Models now located in England.  Results have been excellent and I can highly recommend the company and it new owner, Ilya Sobolov.

I appreciate your following up on your post with the positive information, and glad you got the aftermarket stuff you needed.

Now...any pictures you'd like to share? Big Smile
