A CONTRITE HELLO !
It seems I shot my mouth off again.(You know , open mouth , insert foot ) type of thing . I didn't mean for the thing to take the twist like that . I won't apologise , because I find myself doing to much of that lately. Thank you TIM for stepping in and putting the brakes on .
Now , I will ONLY comment on modeling and make sure the adjunct real life things that are depicted by models are left in real life situations . OKAY ? You fellows , ALL of you are and have been very gracious to this modeler and lonely person .I get emotional very easy now that the missus is gone . I am sorry I have let that emotional shadow pass over my comments here.
This is one reason I do come here . It's not just for the models .I don't have anyone within fifty miles to talk to about modeling . Those that visit here from AUSTIN and SAN ANTONIO are never around when I can get around . soooo.
I can't always be the one to go to the cities mentioned . Yes , I know there are modelers in the vicinity , but just not in the area north of SAN ANTONIO . Those from AUSTIN have chosen NOT to make their presence known when I was IN AUSTIN so I stopped traveling there .
I don't expect folks to give me a parade ! A casual HELLO would be nice though . I am ( I admit it ) lonely for modelers to talk to in person . My thoughts are full of ideas and there's no one except these sites to share with .So ,Yes , I do sometimes get carried away with my comments .
It used to be fun in CALIFORNIA and ARKANSAS to spend time at a DENNY'S or I-HOP over coffee talking about and showing models from our trunks ,whatever .I feel ,in this regard here in TEXAS , I am in "NO MANS LAND ". do you see ?
Well , enough said , I will here-to-fore confine my comments to ships , armor , and planes , and whatever and forget the rest . Tanker-builder
