subfixer

I lived at RAF Upper Heyford when I was a kid. There was still stuff from those days being used then.

I have been to Bodney and East Wretham a few times, they are now part of an Army training area. And much of the accomadation and other builds look like they date back to the war. Quite a few of the control towers still stand, some have been turned into museums and there a lot of structers dotted around most old bases.

I hope they shot it over here. The presence of the 8th can still be seen all around East Anglia. It would be nice it as much as possable was shot on location.

Cool....looking forward to it.  With their level of detail, it should be good.

On the bench:  Tamyia Mosquito Mk. VI for the '44 group build.  Yes, still.

Sorry if its already been posted but looks like Hanks and Spielberg are going to do another series similiar to Band of Brothers and Pacific but this time dealing with the 8th Air Force! Looking forward to this one for sure!
