Congratulations to Rush

Rush was finally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last night.
The greatest rock and roll band ever in my opinion and long overdue for this award.
Congratulations Neil, Geddy and Alex.

Glad they got the recognition, and they certainly are a 'Hall of Fame' caliber band but their body of work speaks for itself- that's a veiled swipe at the idiocy, in my view, of those running the R&R Hall of Fame. I defer to Eddie Trunk on further R&R HOF commentary.

But, my screen name says all I need to say about what I think of Rush.

Can't argue with you on this Mike. I love Rush. Not my favorite, but still a very good band.

How many drummers does it take to replace a light bulb?

Two

One to remove the old one, another to talk about how Neil Peart would have done it better then any one else.

One of my favorite bands, their last 2 albums have been really strong.  I am still listening to last year's Clock Work Angels on a regular basis.

Took FAR TOO LONG to get them in. That being said, their "election class" this year also included... Randy Newman?? Public Enemy??? Donna Summer?????
